Mod Hats and Caps

First things first, A baseball cap with a giant target on the front or with the word "Mod"  splattered across the front isn't Mod.

Modernists have always had a passion for hats and caps, first is the narrow brimmed trilby style hats worn by the likes of Hammond organ groover Jimmy McGriff and Ska legend Laurel Aitken.

Then there's the timeless classic the Breton cap, championed by Sixties Mod heroes The Small Faces through to Britpoppers Oasis and Ocean colour scene.

The Pork pie hat is so cool, Charlie Mingus wrote a song about it "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat"

Also falling in the Mod friendly category are French style berets and Bucket hats. Visit Headstart Hats  website for more Mod Hats and Caps
